| Important: LAB features are experimental. They may change, fail, be restricted, move to a different Sauce plan, or be removed without notice. Do not rely on LAB features for critical server operations. |

1. Purpose and Scope
These LAB Program Terms (the "LAB Terms") govern access to and use of features marked as LAB within Sauce, including the Sauce Discord Bot, Sauce Dashboard and related official Sauce services. The LAB Terms supplement the Sauce Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy. If there is a conflict concerning a LAB feature, these LAB Terms control for that feature.
2. What LAB Means
LAB is a development status used for experimental, preview, unfinished or actively tested Sauce functionality. A LAB label does not promise that a feature will become generally available, remain compatible with earlier configurations or retain its current design, limits, data format or behavior.
LAB is not a standalone paid plan.
LAB access may exist independently from Free, Chilli or Guacamole access.
Guacamole includes access to LAB features unless a specific LAB feature is restricted for technical, safety or capacity reasons.
Sauce may manually grant LAB access to selected servers or users for testing.
3. Eligibility and Access
LAB access may be granted through one or more of the following methods:
automatic access associated with Guacamole;
manual access granted by Sauce;
participation in a limited test, partner test or staged rollout;
temporary access for debugging, demonstration or feedback purposes.
Access is discretionary, non-transferable and may be limited by server, user, feature, region, capacity, technical compatibility or time period. Access to one LAB feature does not guarantee access to every LAB feature.
4. Administrator Authority
Only a server owner, administrator or other person with sufficient Discord permissions should enable a LAB feature. By enabling a LAB feature, the person doing so represents that they are authorized to configure the relevant Discord server and accept the operational risks described in these LAB Terms.
5. Experimental Nature and No Reliability Guarantee
LAB features are provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis. They may contain defects, incomplete interfaces, temporary limitations, unexpected behavior, inaccurate output, delays, compatibility problems or interrupted availability. Sauce does not guarantee uptime, response time, data preservation, backward compatibility or suitability for any particular purpose for LAB features.
6. Changes, Migration and Removal
Sauce may at any time:
change the operation, interface, permissions, limits or availability of a LAB feature;
reset, migrate or delete LAB configuration or test data where reasonably necessary;
move a LAB feature to Free, Chilli, Guacamole or another future access category;
pause or remove a LAB feature;
require a new setup process or acceptance of updated terms before continued use.
Where practical, Sauce may provide notice through the Dashboard, a configured technical-notifications channel, the official Support Server or the Sauce website. Immediate changes may be made without notice when required for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance or service stability.
7. Data and Configuration
LAB features may process server configuration and Discord identifiers necessary to operate the feature, as described in the Sauce Privacy Policy. Because LAB data structures may change, administrators should not treat LAB configuration as a permanent record or sole backup. Sauce may exclude LAB data from standard backup, export or restoration guarantees unless expressly stated within the feature.
8. Feedback and Test Information
Users are encouraged to report defects and provide suggestions. Feedback may include descriptions, screenshots, recordings, diagnostic logs or configuration examples. By submitting feedback, you grant Sauce a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, adapt, analyze and incorporate that feedback for the development, operation and promotion of Sauce, without an obligation to compensate or credit you. This does not transfer ownership of unrelated content you created.
9. Confidential or Limited Tests
Some LAB tests may be marked private, confidential or subject to additional instructions. In such cases, participants must not publicly disclose unreleased interfaces, access methods, security details or materials identified as confidential. Ordinary public LAB access is not confidential unless Sauce clearly states otherwise.
10. Prohibited Conduct
While using LAB, you must not:
attempt to bypass entitlement checks, access restrictions or rollout controls;
probe, exploit or intentionally overload LAB infrastructure;
use known defects to obtain unauthorized access, data, benefits or service capacity;
sell, transfer or sublicense LAB access;
misrepresent a LAB feature as stable, guaranteed or officially released;
use LAB in violation of Discord rules, applicable law or Sauce policies.
11. Security Reporting
Security vulnerabilities should be reported privately to support@sauceapp.net or through the official Sauce Support Server. Do not publicly disclose an exploitable issue before Sauce has had a reasonable opportunity to investigate and mitigate it.
12. Suspension or Revocation
Sauce may suspend or revoke LAB access at any time, including for abuse, policy violations, security risk, excessive resource use, test completion, technical incompatibility, non-participation in a limited test or service capacity. Revocation of LAB access does not necessarily terminate access to stable Sauce services.
13. Guacamole and LAB
Guacamole includes LAB access as a plan benefit, but LAB remains a separate experimental status. Guacamole does not guarantee that every experimental feature will be available at all times, in every region or on every server. If Guacamole later becomes a paid service, cancellation, expiration or suspension of Guacamole may remove automatic LAB access unless separate manual LAB access remains active.
14. No Compensation for Changes
Unless required by applicable law or expressly stated in separate paid-service terms, changes to, interruptions of or removal of a LAB feature do not create a right to compensation, service credits or replacement functionality. At present, Sauce does not offer paid subscriptions unless separately announced through official channels and supported by updated terms.
15. Limitation of Responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sauce is not responsible for losses arising from reliance on a LAB feature, including lost configuration, missed automation, incomplete moderation action, unavailable dashboards, inaccurate analytics, interrupted workflows or incompatibility with third-party services. Nothing in these LAB Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Relationship with Discord and Third Parties
Sauce is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Discord. Use of LAB remains subject to Discord requirements and any applicable third-party service terms. Changes made by Discord or another provider may interrupt or permanently prevent a LAB feature from operating.
17. Updates to These Terms
Sauce may update these LAB Terms as the Program changes. The current version will be published through official Sauce channels. Material changes may be communicated through the Dashboard, website, Support Server or configured technical-notifications channel. Continued use of LAB after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated LAB Terms, subject to applicable law.
