Custom Bot Identity
Connect a private Discord Application and give it a custom identity while Sauce provides the modules and Dashboard.
What it does
Barrel servers can connect their own Discord Application to Sauce. The private application uses Sauce modules, API and Dashboard while presenting the chosen bot identity.
Setup flow
- Create or choose your Discord Application.
- Paste the Bot Token in the Barrel Custom Bot section.
- Connect the application.
- Use the generated Add to Server authorization link.
- Customize the identity and check the live preview.
- Save and apply the supported changes to Discord.
Token security
The token is encrypted, never returned in full and displayed only as a masked saved state. It can be replaced or disconnected from the same setup.
Identity controls
The editor covers the bot name, avatar, banner where available, description, presence and live Discord-style preview. Fonts, effects and colours are applied only where Discord supports them; a style error does not disable the rest of the custom bot.
